Connect your necklace

Power on your Cylumi and keep it close to your iPhone. Open the Connect tab, tap Find my Cylumi, allow Bluetooth access, and select the necklace when it appears. Bluetooth testing requires a physical iPhone; the iOS Simulator cannot connect to the necklace.

If Cylumi does not appear

Confirm the necklace is powered on and not connected to another phone. In iPhone Settings, make sure Bluetooth is on and Cylumi has Bluetooth permission, then reopen the app and scan again.

Firmware updates

Connect the necklace, open the Cylumi tab, and choose Check for Update. Keep your phone near the necklace and leave the app open until installation completes. The app verifies every update before transferring it.

Privacy

Cylumi analyzes surrounding sound on the necklace itself. The iPhone app does not request microphone access or save ambient audio. Read the complete privacy policy.
